I'm Josiah — a Software Engineer and Entrepreneur based in New York City. What started as a curiosity for how things work on the web turned into years of shipping products, founding companies, and learning what it takes to build things that actually matter.
I focus on optimizing for both present and emerging technologies, with a strong interest in business analytics and machine learning. I believe good engineering isn't just about writing code — it's about anticipating problems before they arise and building solutions that remain relevant over time.
The Journey
Learned Development
Frustrated with the existing tools, I resolved to create my own. By self-teaching programming, I swiftly comprehended that the most effective approach to problem-solving is to deliver a product, even if it is imperfect.
Analyse
Developed an analytics platform for game communities that processed over 2 billion records. This platform provided server owners with real-time visibility into their player data. Subsequently, it was acquired by Tebex and is now known as Tebex Analytics.
Head of Product — Geode Host
Led the development of a custom real-time server management panel and enterprise hosting infrastructure spanning U.S. and European regions. Designed systems that were inherently scalable from inception.
AtoBeach
Founded a travel platform based on the premise that travelers should have comprehensive information before making bookings. The platform offers destination insights, including safety, weather conditions, and connectivity, alongside flight and hotel options—all conveniently consolidated in one location. The platform was acquired shortly before its launch.
Naval Education and Training Command
Serving as Regimental Administration Officer, managing records, logistics, and administrative operations for a 500+ cadet regiment in New York. Discipline and precision applied at scale.
